I am currently working on behalf of the UK’s most successful, well known Tier 1 Main Contractor. My client is a global construction company with an annual turnover of £1.5bn and operates in over 15 countries worldwide. Their forte is complex cut and carve refurbishment, commercial fit-out and specialist new build of technical facilities such as hospitals, data centres and university departments. In the UK, they are a top 3 Fit-out contractor having put their stamp on high profile projects for several Investment banks and FTSE250 ranking companies’ offices across Central London. Projects range between the values of £10m to £150m.

The Role:

As a Bid Manager within the winning work team you will be responsible for managing the Bid process for both pre-qualifications and tenders. Management of bids that are project and sector size appropriate, ranging from £500,000 - £65m.

Responsibilities included:  

• Engaging with project teams to develop strategy and win themes

• Set tender strategy for project, ensure this is reflected throughout bid document

• Working closely with delivery teams to write bespoke, project specific content for the bids

• Allocating bid deliverables to relevant team members and writing executive summaries that clearly convey the delivery strategy for the project

• Working with proposals/designers team to pull together the content 

This role is process driven, you will not be assessed on your design.

You will be joining a great close-knit team, working in a fast paced environment that requires you to be organised, tenacious and approachable. Additionally, the successful individual will be expected to work on 2 to 4 bids per week, therefore must have previous experience working within a pre-construction team and have an advanced understanding of the
