Job Description:


Our client is a Major UK Residential Contractor that has a national presence with over 20 regional offices. They are leading partnership home builders and the leading provider of regeneration services in Great Britain. This business offers progression, training and an enormous amount of career and project opportunities. They deliver a mixture of Regeneration, Traditional and Design and Build Schemes and have a portfolio of 400 active sites around the UK.

They currently have projects which range in value size from £2Million up to £200Million which features the building of nearly 300 new homes and the refurbishment of over 1200. Other projects include the building of over 700 new homes for Birmingham council. One of their previous projects include 324 new homes built which was rated by the telegraph as one of the 10 best areas to live outside London.


We are looking for an experienced Site manager/Senior Site Manager for a Concrete Frame Mixed Use New Build project that is commencing in July.

The Project:

• 12 Storey R.C Frame – Commercial & 42 Residential Units – London – New Build

This person will report into the Project Manager and will take overall responsibility for this Projects delivery and will get involved from preconstruction through to completion.


• Managing and Co-coordinating the Programed works

• Managing Subcontractors

• Carrying out quality assurance

• Manage logistics

• Ensuring the site is maintained in a clean and safe manner

• Implementing Health and Safety

• Short term programming

• Liaising with clients

Candidate’s Basic Requirements:

• A complete understanding of the construction process and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction industry and preferably Residential.

• Experience performing in the Site Manager Position.

• A professional Qualification, e.g. Degree in Construction Management/Engineer/Civil Engineer or HMD, or come from a trade background.

• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Certification.

• Previous relevant experience of both Private and Social housing schemes is preferable


• Competitive salary of £60,000 - £60,000 (Negotiable Depending On Experience)
