We have been retained by our client to identify individuals interested in, and suitable for the following position:

Site Manager/Senior Site Manager – London – New Build Residential – £45,000 - £60,000 (+ Package) Depending On Experience

The Company:

Our client is an award-winning, family-owned residential property developer operating in London and the South East, with almost 35 years’ sector experience and a strong pedigree delivering successful private, affordable and mixed-use housing developments. With a team of 80 full time staff, with over 1,000 in the field turning over around £65m annually. This business offers progression, training and an enormous amount of career and project opportunities. They deliver a mixture of Traditional and Design and Build Schemes and have a large number of projects active in the South East.

They currently have various projects around the south east with a mixture of traditional and R.C Frame residential developments. Such as a 51 Unit traditionally built scheme with a £13 Million Project Value.  And a 53 Unit development with retail units.

The Role/Project:

We are looking for several experienced Senior Site Manager for Traditional and Concrete Frame schemes in:

The Project:

• 60 Units - Traditional Build and R.C Frame – Residential – North West London

• 25 Units – Traditional – Residential – West London

• 40 Units - R.C Frame – Residential – South West London

This person will report into the Contracts manager and will take overall responsibility for this Projects delivery including Financial Aspects of the schemes and will get involved from preconstruction through to completion. The schemes will all be New Build Residential Projects that consist of both RC Frame Flats and Traditional Houses.

Duties:

• Managing and Co-coordinating the Programed works

• Managing Subcontractors

• Carrying out quality assurance

• Manage logistics

• Ensuring the site is maintained in a clean and safe manner

• Implementing Health and Safety

• Short term programming

• Liaising with clients

• Number One on site

Candidate’s Basic Requirements:

• A complete understanding of the construction process and a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction industry and preferably Residential.

• Experience performing in the Site manager Position.

• A professional Qualification, e.g. Degree in Construction Management/Engineer/Civil Engineer or HMD, or come from a trade background.

• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Certification.

• Previous relevant experience of Private and Social Housing schemes is preferable.
