Job Description:

The Role:

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for a £12.5m Design and Build school project in South London. This is a 70 week programme which is on site now and the project involves major extensive refurbishment including a brand new M&E Infrastructure to a Grade ll listed building. There will be a 2 storey steel frame extension on the side of the school tying into the existing building. The right candidate needs to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with the client, design team, English Heritage and the local authority. You will be reporting into a Senior Contracts Manager. You will have a team working below you which includes an Assistant Project Manager, Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Design Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Planner and a Document controller.

The Company:

Our Client is a Major International Contractor, with a group turnover in excess of £2 Billion. I am currently recruiting on behalf of the Construction Division, who deals with both New Build and Refurbishment projects up to circa £150m. Our client operates within the Education, Commercial Office, Healthcare, Industrial, Retail, Leisure Science & Technology sectors, whilst also taking on large scale mixed use schemes such as the one outlined above.
