Job Description:

We are looking for a determined, talented and professional individual with a proven track record of developing, negotiating and closing Commercial Office Fit Out opportunities at D&B margins from 10,000 sq. ft. upwards or up to c£2.5m. In addition the individual must have the ability to be a company lead and capable of managing and developing the Sales department which includes Agency Networkers & Telemarketers.

You will be a natural leader who has the ability to collaborate well with colleagues & external teams. In addition, you have good commercial acumen that allows you to identify “hot” opportunities.

Your engaging and personable nature will enable you to build immediate and long lasting relationships with clients that give you the competitive advantage from the outset. Respect is something that you acquire naturally from both your clients and your colleagues; you are confident and assertive but able to close business in an intelligent and subtle fashion without appearing pushy.

You will have extensive experience within the Design and Build industry and a proven track record of securing D&B projects. You could be a Project Director, Sales Director or Managing Director with a natural talent for building relationships, closing business and strategically managing a successful business development team.  

You will be managing the Sales team and attending appointments set up by the existing Agent Networkers and/or Telemarketers and be responsible for closing them & converting them into projects.

You will have had a successful career so far with a competitor but are now looking to take the next step and join a successful tier 2 D&B fit out contractor with ambitious growth plans and the potential to take a leading role.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Developing qualified leads generated by Networkers & Business Development Manager and turning them into real opportunities

· Managing the Agent Networkers & Telemarketers ensuring they are meeting monthly targets

· Developing relationships and opportunities with key new business clients

· Attending client meetings to take project and design briefs from clients

· Driving the sale from first appointment

· Interpreting and passing the briefs on to the internal team

· Attending project meetings and developing client briefs to influence the D&B solutions and selection on projects

· Pitching to End User clients to win business either via a direct introduction or in competition with other D&B companies
