Job Description:

Site Manager – South East London – New Build Residential – £40,000 - £45,000 (+ Package)

Our client is a Major UK Residential Developer that has a national presence with regional offices throughout the UK. They are a leading Residential developer in the UK. This business offers progression, training and an enormous amount of career and project opportunities. They have been in operation since the 1990’s and have over 500 staff. They are currently one of the fastest growing developers in the UK and have consistently been voted as one of the best companies to work for. They were recently given a Silver award for Best Developer and a Gold award for Best Medium Housebuilder. Our client was also voted in the Sunday Times Best 100 companies to work for finishing in the top 30. All their Sites range in size between 40–90 Units. All of their being traditionally developments. Their latest projects include a 67 unit development in Kent with their projects typically ranging between 40 – 90 units.

THE ROLE/PROJECT:

We are looking for an experience Senior Site Manager for:

The Project:

• 38 units – New Build – Traditional Build - Residential

This person will be number two won site with a view to progress to number and report into the Senior Site Manager and will take overall responsibility for this Projects delivery and will get involved from site setup through to completion. The scheme is a New Build Residential Project that consists of a traditionally built Care Home.

Duties:

• Managing and Co-coordinating the Programed works

• Managing Subcontractors

• Carrying out quality assurance

• Manage logistics

• Ensuring the site is maintained in a clean and safe manner

• Implementing Health and Safety

• Short term programming

• Liaising with clients

Candidate’s Basic Requirements:

• A complete understanding of the construction process and a minimum of 4 years’ experience within the construction industry and preferably Residential/Care homes

• Experience performing in the Site manager Position.

• A professional Qualification, e.g. Degree in Construction Management/Engineer/Civil Engineer or HMD, or come from a trade background.

• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Certification.
