Job Description:

Our Client is a Major Residential Contracts that is over 50 years old and have been involved in over 2000 projects during its lifetime. They started off as family business and have been operating in that manner since their creation. They are a growing company with turnover reaching £200m. They have been shortlisted and won various construction related awards and aim to carry on with the same quality and determination they have done for the past 50 years.

Scheme – South-West London

The Scheme is a major regeneration project in South-West London and consists of over 780 units in total. The project is on its way and has over 380 units left to complete by June 2017. The 380 units are spread across 12 blocks which are created from a mixture of RC frame and steel frame with the tallest one being 6 storeys in height. The scheme is a JV with a major HA and the local council.

Site Manager – Up to £55,000 + Package (Car Allowance, Healthcare, Pension)

We are looking for a Site Manager that will be working on the internals aspects of the project. The site manager will be responsible for various blocks and will report directly to the senior project manager. It is imperative that the manager has experience in the residential market and has been involved in all aspects of the fit-out phase of a block. The SM will manage all internal sub-contractors as well as managing finishing managers that work on the project.

This role is a permanent role and the client is persistent that they want permanent managers that have had longevity with previous companies. 

The candidate will be report into a Senior Project Manager. 

Duties include:

• Managing and Co-coordinating the Programed works
• Managing Subcontractors – Carpenters, M&E etc...
• Managing Finishing Managers
• Carrying out quality assurance
• Manage logistics
• Ensuring the site is maintained in a clean and safe manner
• Implementing Health and Safety
• Short term programming

Our client is offering up to £55,000 + Package depending on experience.
