Assistant Site Manager – London – New Build Residential – £35,000 - £45,000 (+ Package) Depending On Experience

The Company

Our client has been operating for over 70 years has grown from a small, family-owned firm to one of the most successful house builders in the UK. Today they directly employ more than 2,000 people and have earned an enviable reputation. This business offers progression, training and an enormous amount of career and project opportunities. They deliver a mixture of Traditional and Design and Build Schemes and have a large number of projects active nationally.

They currently have various residential developments such as a High end 510 home scheme in Nine Elms.  And a collection of 50 apartments in Hammersmith

The Role/Project:

We are looking for an experience Assistant Site Manager for a New Build Residential Project

The Project: 90 Units - Traditional Build – Residential – London

This person will report into the Project manager and will take overall responsibility for this Projects delivery including Financial Aspects of the schemes and will get involved from preconstruction through to completion. The schemes will all be New Build Residential Projects that consist of both

Flats and Traditional Houses.

Duties:

•Managing and Co-coordinating the Programed works

•Managing Subcontractors

•Carrying out quality assurance

•Manage logistics

•Ensuring the site is maintained in a clean and safe manner

•Implementing Health and Safety

•Short term programming

•Liaising with clients

Candidate’s Basic Requirements:

• A complete understanding of the construction process and a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the construction industry and preferably Residential.

• Experience performing in the Assistant Site manager Position.

• A professional Qualification, e.g. Degree in Construction Management/Engineer/Civil Engineer or HMD, or come from a trade background.

• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Certification.

• Previous relevant experience of Private housing schemes is preferable
