Electrical Projects Manager

Job Description:

Established for over 20 years our client is a bespoke Electrical Contractor that specialises in both Museums, listed buildings and high specification commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishments in the UK. The majority of their Fit Out & Refurbishment work is around London and the South East. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a front runner in such a niche market. Projects range in value from £100K to £5M. Projects are a mixture of D&B and predesigned with a large amount of repeat business from current client. 


You will need to have a proven track record of working within public buildings, listed building, or museums and be aware of the sensitivity of working in the environment 

Basic Job Description Overview:

• Main part of project is infrastructure, enabling works, alterations and Mains feeds.

• Managing multiple projects within the site

• Oversee project budgeting and maintaining accurate billing records. 

• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.

• Ensure that all quality control, environmental, H&S requirements are met.

• Be able to work under their own initiative from receipt of order through to final account and within the defects period and be cognisant of the current contract climate.

• This involves having a general knowledge of contract law, administration, account development and submission.

• Manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources. 

• Analyse and continually assess contract profitability, revenue, bill rates and utilisation.

• Full commercial control of all projects. Weekly review with director

• Provide professional advice and guidance to site senior management.

• Plan site activities in detail, setting targets and forecasting completion dates.

• Accurately estimate material, construction and labour costs as well as project timescales.
