Job Description:

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to commercially run one of our client’s flagship projects which comprises of a full refurbishment and structural alterations to a single high end residence as well as an extensive excavation and construction of a double basement under the footprint of the existing property and rear garden totally circa 17,000 sq ft.

This is a logistically challenging and stimulating cut and carve project with an extensive temporary works packages, elements to façade retention and complete reconfiguration of the layout with the property being completed to the highest of standards with bespoke, joinery, stone, AV, mechanical and electrical packages being installed.

Our client are currently on site carrying out investigation works and soft strip out and are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor who will be responsible for the project from start to finish. The majority of the project has been procured by the Managing Quantity Surveyor the successful candidate is being bought in to procure the remainder of the project and then take the scheme through to completion.

Responsibilities and duties;

·                 Liaising and working closely with commercial manager

·                 Procurement of sub-contractors

·                 Interim valuations on a monthly basis

·                  Cost management document

·                  Claiming/Valuing variations

·                  Instruction of variations to sub-contractors

·                 Monthly progress reporting to the client and our internal board

·                  Settlement of payments to the sub-contractors and raising certificates for payment
