£95,000 + Package

Job Description:

The Role

The project is a complex multifaceted new build scheme comprising of a number of different construction methodologies including steel and RC frame (post-tensioned). There will be deep excavation, major piling and civil engineering works, all new M&E infrastructure and some major 278 works. Each new building will be a part of the wider scheme and will each have its own project manager and site management team and also a full commercial management and support team – each team reporting up stream to the Project Director. This project will literally transform a historic part of London and will be a pivotal part of the Governments new housing and regeneration initiative.

There is ample opportunity for Growth and development within this organisation as they have a slightly different focus than in previous years, looking at Central London major projects as opposed to the regional projects that used to generate a larger proportion of the companies southern UK’s turnover – roughly 65% - 35%. This means they will need more management and directors – could that be you?

The Company

Our client are one of the most diverse and successful global construction organisations with an incredible portfolio of projects across major construction, civils and infrastructure in the UK and across the world. Their turnover last year was over £4bn with £1bn attributed to the southern regions, they have a number of £200m+ projects under construction and a further £500m in the pipeline for the coming year. This particular main contractor has the capability and experience to deliver very complex new build and refurbishment schemes and has been focussing on central London for recent project wins – they have secured a multitude of exciting, skyline changing projects and are looking at strengthening their management team.
