Mechanical Project Manager

£55,000 - £70,000 + Package

Job Description:

Our Client is a well-established Mechanical contractor with an annual turnover in excess of £40M for 2015 with an expected turnover of £50M for 2016. They specialise in the design and installation of full Mechanical services for residential developments from shell & core through to fit-out. However they primarily focus on plant and distribution. Projects include regeneration developments through to high specification, multi storey new builds, hotels and student accommodation all in London. Clients include Barratt’s, Wates, Berkeley Group and Galliards.

Our client has multiple long term projects beginning in Central London. They are currently recruiting for 2 x Project Managers to run different London developments.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a front runner residential contractor that has a full order book for 2016. You will be in a challenging yet supportive environment where hard work and dedication is promoted and rewarded

Responsibilities and duties on the projects will include:

•  Procurement

•  Programming

•  Co-ordinating other sub-contractors on site

•  Design review

•  Controlling and reporting on all financials. You will be responsible for all commercial control and profitability on this project without a quantity surveyor

•  Chairing meetings and reporting progress

•  Client liaising

•  Overseeing the commissioning

•  Complete handover process


•  Must have recent experience running new build residential, student accommodation or hotel projects with a minimum mechanical value of £3M

•  Suitable candidates must have over 5 years’ experience in similar sector projects

•  Live in a commutable distance to London

•  Strong Client facing skills

•  Very strong commercial capabilities
